Terri Lee: Reigns Again

Every bit the doll she was in the 1940s and 1950s, 16 –inch Terri Lee Chick Mohair wears a mohair wig, a first for this reproduction doll. The wig’s bright yellow color was called “chick” in the 1950s and is very rare today. Terri Lee wears an organdy dress, a floppy hat trimmed in ribbons and rosettes, and party shoes and anklets. Limited to 350.

Terri Lee’s “Tiny Terri Virginia Travel Doll” has made her way to Norfolk, Virginia to visit the U.S. Naval base. This little southern travel tyke is limited to 750 and sells for around $100. The ten-inch doll is made of hard plastic and wears a sweet navy blue sailor dress. She also comes with a state charm, which is ¾”inch in length and ½” in width.

Terri Lee Chick Mohair is wearing an organdy dress with pink floppy hat trimmed in ribbons and rosettes. Chick Mohair was done in the 1950’s but is very rare and highly collectable.

Terri Lee is Back!

The new re-issue of the Terri Lee dolls is limited to an edition of 500. The 16-inch vinyl doll, due to be released in time for the Holiday 2002 season, will be priced at $275. The distinctive cutie will be painted and signed by Lee Platt.
